"The outcomes of COP29" were presented in Athens.
On December 19, 2024, Ambassador Arif Mammadov presented the successful outcomes of COP 29 at the workshop organized by the Circular Economy and Climate Institute of the European Public Law Organization. He informed the audience about the achievements of Baku COP, including breakthroughs in Azerbaijan that delivered a $1.3 trillion “Baku Finance Goal” with a new core finance objective of $300 billion, full operationalization of both Article 6 on carbon markets and the Loss and Damage Fund.
