Khojaly Commemoration Day

The Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Hellenic Republic organized Khojaly Commemoration and presented documentary film “Running from the Darkness” made by “J-Connect” Organization on the 26^th Anniversary of Khojaly Tragedy. The film was presented in Los Angeles and participated in “Red Rock” Film Festival in USA.

Charge d’Affairs of the Embassy Mr. Eldar Aliyev, speaking before the audience of Diplomatic Corps in Athens, academia, business and mass media representatives as well as Diaspora members, talked about one of the bloody nights in the history of Azerbaijan - the Khojaly massacre that took the lives of 613 civilians, including 106 women, 63 children and 70 elderly people.
